Our History

Over the years, Tillers Carpet Cleaning was rated as one of the top 3 carpet cleaning companies in the Twin Cities area by Consumers Checkbook, Five Star Publications, and Minneapolis Star Tribune.

1977

Tillers Carpet Cleaning was founded

1979

The founding team was trained and certified by Bane-Clene Systems.

1986

The first employees were hired.

Gained Bane-Clene certification.

A Bane-Clene certification is highly respected as it is the most rigorous certification program to complete in the industry

1989

Tillers Carpet Cleaning served as a Q & A panelist at the National Carpet Cleaners Convention in Indianapolis.

1994

Tillers Carpet Cleaning received Better Business Bureau accretitation.

2015

The services offered were expanded to include pickup and delivery area rug cleaning as well as tile and grout cleaning.

2023

The founding team promoted Mike Lindell, a 23 year veteran of the company, to take over management of the company.

2024–2025

Tillers Carpet Cleaning refreshed our brand and launched an new website experience.
